What Music Uploads is
Music Uploads was built to take the music out of the competitor's hands on the day. Dance comps, aerobics, eisteddfods and cheerleading have all grown to a size where handling discs and drives at the door stopped working.
The old problems are familiar: music that will not play, music that stops halfway through a routine, the wrong song entirely. It was created by people who run events, so that competitors know their music will play and it will be the right one. No CDs, no USBs, no checking music in.
Voice critiques
A written critique is fine as far as it goes, but it is usually a handful of short comments and it is limited to what fits on the sheet.
A voice critique is the judge talking directly to the performer about their routine. For soloists, groups and troupes alike it gives specific corrections and easy fixes, and it is the difference between knowing something went wrong and knowing what to do about it.
