Nicky Manego is a member of the Australian Dance Adjudicators Association (www.adadance.org.au) and a certified Comdance teacher - formally CSTD. Nicky trained through the CSTD syllabus in Jazz, Tap, & Theatrical - RAD ballet to Advanced and IDTA for modern. She also completed training at the Ross Coleman Performing Arts Studio, Sydney & Pineapple Dance Studios, London. She has a freelance teaching career that spans over 30 years that included teaching Comdance syllabi from Tinies to Teaching diploma levels with students always attaining high marks. Many of her past students have received working contracts on Cruise Ships, in Musical Theatre Productions, TV Commercials & Music Videos both here in Australia and internationally. Throughout her many years as a Dancer/Singer and Choreographer, she performed alongside many well known industry artists including Peter Allen, Kylie Minogue and John Farnham. Nicky toured Australia and overseas in Royal Command performances, musicals, cabaret shows and also appeared on television shows for the Nine Network and in a variety of TVC's. Her choreographic experience has seen her create a large variety of solos and group pieces for performance teams, items for National Sports Acrobatics teams and massed arena works for Creative Generation - State Schools on Stage. Nicky has extensive experience as a student, performer, teacher, choreographer, Dance Mum, Mentor for young performers and Adjudicator. Her adjudication feedback is positive, encouraging and provides valuable feedback for dancers to continue to thrive as they navigate their dance journey. Having also managed a large performing arts event for many years she has a clear understanding what it takes to participate in the industry, that she is passionate about, from many different aspects. She is proficient with both voice critiques and written reports and is constantly up-skilling to stay up to date with our constantly evolving performing arts industry.
