Melanie van Voornveld is an experienced dance educator, adjudicator, and mentor with over 25 years in the performing arts industry. She holds formal dance teaching and performance qualifications, including a Diploma in Dance Teaching Practices and Associate status in Modern Theatre Dance with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. Melanie lives on the VIC/ NSW border. Melanie is a member of Australian Dance Adjudicators and is also affiliated with both the Australian Teachers of Dancing and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. These professional connections reflect her commitment to maintaining strong industry standards in dance education, training, and adjudication. Melanie has taught and adjudicated dancers across a wide range of ages, styles, and experience levels. She is known for delivering constructive, encouraging, and age-appropriate feedback that dancers can apply immediately, while maintaining strong technical standards. Passionate about developing confident and expressive performers, Melanie focuses on technique, musicality, performance quality, and stage presence.
